Abraham Werewolf

NOT ART is a comedic study of the working relationship between the members of D'Artagnan, a touring rock band from Chicago. When Tony (lead bongos) brings a new mode of expression to his bandmates, Billy (lead singer) refuses to accommodate the new sound. Joey (lead guitarist) is caught in the middle of their intellectual battle as he looks down the barrel of his shotgun wedding.

NOT ART is loosely based on Yasmina Reza's award winning play Art. It was originally performed at Gorilla Tango Theatre in January and February of 2009 and has since been performed at various venues across Chicago. The piece was written and scored collaboratively by Abraham Werewolf and was the group's premiere production in the Chicago-land area.
